Belfast
2 day shifts, 2 night shifts, on a rolling 4 on 4 off basis
42 hour work week
ASAP Start
£26 per hour PAYE
Contract - Potential to be made permanent

Our client is seeking a site based Electrical Engineer to increase line proficiencies through minimisation of unplanned line stoppages, maximise the effectiveness of planned maintenance and leading continuous improvement activities in their packaging site in Belfast.

You’ll engage with all maintenance personnel to deliver and review effective immediate maintenance and performance turnarounds whilst maintaining operating equipment to maximise uptime and deliver solutions for ‘trending maintenance failures’ (downtime) using root cause problem solving.

Health and safety compliance is key, and you’ll be at the forefront of making sure this is monitored alongside other KPI’s and targets.

Role Requirements/Experience

Variable frequency drives.
Servo drives and motors.
Asi bus, profi bus.
Electro-pneumatics.
PLC experience (desired but not essential) - software package
3 phase motors and control circuits.
Mechanical works including bearings, belts, pulleys.
17th/18th Edition Electrical Wiring

Minimum of 5 years' experience in a production environment and have demonstrable understanding of asset performance and maintenance philosophy with excellent process improvement skills.

Qualifications

For this role you must have a recognised Electrical apprenticeship, and Electrical HNC or equivalent.
NVQ level 3
ONC city and guilds
